No chemicals all flavor

I am a borderline chocoholic, with an absolute love for chocolate milk.

The problem is store-bought syrup is mostly chemicals.

The solution? Make your own with quality ingredients.

After way too many test batches I settled on this recipe.

INGREDIENTS:

1 CUP white sugar

1 CUP brown sugar packed

1 CUP organic cocoa powder

1.5 CUP filtered water

1 TBSP vanilla extract

THE PROCESS:

Dump everything besides the vanilla in a big pot.

Whisk it together over medium heat, bring to a rolling boil adjust heat as needed to prevent boiling over while whisking briskly for 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and let cool.

Stir in the vanilla.

Pour in a jar and store in the fridge.

NOTES:

Vanilla is last because high heat changes the flavor.

The quality of the cocoa powder makes a big difference I’ve been using one I found on Amazon called “Anthony's Organic Raw Cocoa Powder”

I often double the recipe with the quantity I go through.

Chocolate milk:

2oz syrup

8oz milk

Stir or shake

ENJOY!
